• Supporting Lead Teacher: Assist the lead teacher in implementing the Montessori curriculum and philosophy within the classroom.
• Classroom Preparation: Help set up the classroom environment according to Montessori principles, including arranging materials on shelves, preparing activity areas, and ensuring that the classroom is clean and organized.
• Observation: Observe children's activities and interactions to gain insight into their individual needs, interests, and developmental progress.
• Assistance with Lessons: Assist the lead teacher during lessons by demonstrating how to use Montessori materials, providing individualized support to students, and facilitating group activities.
• Maintaining Order and Discipline: Help maintain a peaceful and respectful classroom atmosphere by modeling appropriate behavior, guiding children in conflict resolution, and enforcing classroom rules when necessary.
• Individualized Instruction: Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support or extension activities based on their needs and interests.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to deepen your understanding of Montessori principles and practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
